No matter how hard I try, I can’t come to peace with the idea that a woman should be able to walk in a bikini in high heels while weighing less than she did when she was 8 years old in order to become Miss America. And if I hear from one more Pageant official about how this is a scholarship competition I will scream. Unless they are sitting at a desk taking a test, this is NOT a scholarship competition.
