Never wake a sleeping dog
It’s not my fault. Randy looked so cute sleeping next to me on his back, legs askew, tongue hanging out. Yep, only a face a mother could love and I do love him. So I put my hand gently on his head and gave him a small stroke. He woke up.
As always with Randy, upon immediately awakening, he looks confused, like he’s surprised to still find himself on earth. But given a minute to shake the cobwebs out of his head and he’s alert. He’s alert and looking at me to find out why I work him up.
