Bird TLC is holding an auction to benefit the birds. The auction will be held in Anchorage on February 3 at the ConocoPhillips Atrium from 6 to about 9 PM. The price of a ticket includes the food, a no host bar and music and entertainment by the great Mr. Whitekeys of the late, sorely missed and immensely lamented, Fly By Night Club. There will also be a variety of education birds available with their presenters. What more can you ask for in an evening’s entertainment.
We have tables available for eight at a variety of prices. The Eagle Tables start at $800 and go down from there. Each of these special tables will have a celebrity wait person to make your evening a funfilled success.
A general admission ticket is $50.
Some of the items already confirmed for auction are a lunch with Mayor Begich, a poker lesson with Perry Green and ice skating lessons with Ben Landis, one of Anchorage’s finest young skaters. Seriously, how can you not want to be there?

Remember, volunteers keep the doors open to injured birds seven days a week, 365 days a year. That’s a lot of volunteer dedication to our wild birds. But we still need money for medicine, food and all those other little extras. So please consider helping us help the birds.
For those of you wondering, the eagle pictured above came to us with the top of her beak missing. We think someone shot it off.
