When you lose one of your pets, they send amazing cards of love and sympathy that fill a real need because the hole in your heart is so large that only other animal people can possibly understand.

Blondie is gone, but not forgotten. And now she sits on a shelf in my house next to her buddy Blue so she is home again… even as her spirit romps freely on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge, no longer in pain but happy to be surrounded by others who will keep her stomach scratched until I get there.
