A great Alaska lady, Mary Louise Rasmuson, died this week at 101. Just reading her obituary made me feel exhausted. She accomplished so much in her lifetime and never seemed to tire. Me? I need a nap after cleaning the bird cages. She reminds me of my aunts. Indefatigable women who never saw a need to stop and, if they did, never thought it was a good time to do it.
