First day at the pool continued

imageimageimage

Against all odds, they learned how to swim from one end of the pool to the other. Allowing themselves to be blown dry was a totally different issue. They were so outta there.

Want your dog to enjoy the same fun on those cold days when walking is so hard for them. Go to Alaska K9 Aquatics on W. International Airport Road. Call 677-7946 for details, prices and an appointment.

First day at the pool

imageimageimage

Their first day at the pool begins with hugs of reassurance that no one will ever leave them alone to sink or swim. It is followed by a discussion among the affected parties as to how much they will poop in mom’s bed that night to show their appreciation for this interesting experience.

Despair all around

image

Santa face plants on the bed. BuddhaBubba and Carm look stricken. Snowy is so devastated he can’t face the camera.

Come back, Karie. The kids are quickly losing all hope.

Clearly size is not the ultimate arbiter

image

Snowy may be smaller in size but notice that the bigger dog follows him in the hope of figuring out how he won all the toys yesterday.

Oh yeah, and I’m mostly doing this to annoy my cousin Joe…. ok, I may have somewhere between 14 and 60 cousin Joe’s but he knows which one I mean.

Maybe not the brightest bulb in the box

image

I put the cloth bag I use for groceries at the end of the hallway so the next time I go down the hallway to the garage I will take it with me to the car. The bag fell over. I thought nothing of it until I heard Snowy growling and barking. I looked up to see him staring at the fallen bag, growling, sneaking up on it slowly and then running backwards right before reaching it. The bag had him scared to death.

I guess you gotta love them no matter how dim they act.
