BuddhaBubba casts those pathetic eyes on the nearest soft touch and VOILA! I was rescued by Bird TLC. They saved my eyes (thanks Dr. Karen!) and someday I’ll fly free again. I think I particularly like the way BuddhaBubba can be barfing while looking up at me as though nothing were going on below her nose, as though nothing were dripping from her mouth. And then she turns and walks away. Doesn’t sniff it. Doesn’t look down at it. I have to wonder if she even knows it’s there.

This poor crab was so desperate for warmth that it climbed two flights of stairs and ripped the screen door to get into my sister’s house. Sadly, the inside of Judy’s house is colder than the outside. The crab died in despair.

Visit with our Live Education Birds while enjoying hors d’oeuvres, a live and silent auction, and no host cocktails. We will celebrate the accomplishments of Bird TLC and all involved are guaranteed to have an enjoyable evening of all things birdie. This is Bird TLC’s largest annual fundraiser so plan on attending, having a good time, and helping us raise funds!
