A good mother would not laugh
I know I’m a terrible mother for saying this, but the funniest part of BuddhaBubba and her toys is watching her try to breathe once she actually gets one in her mouth. It smashes right up against her nose and eventually she has to choose between her toy and death by suffocation. In between, she makes loud snorting noises as she tries to inhale through the toy. Then she drops it, looks up at me laughing hysterically and you can see in her little mind she’s thinking, “You laughing at me? Well, are you? Because it isn’t funny. I almost

And the rest of them still don’t fit in his mouth. Sigh.

I know I’m shameless but
If this baby doesn’t make you want to leave the world a better place for her than you found it, there is something simply wrong with you.
And yes, I will still boldly hand her back to her mother when she poops. Making the world a better place does NOT include wiping poopy butts after you hit 65.

Why I’m glad we’re poor
My sister sent me these pictures of the storm approaching Atlantic City on Sunday as she evacuated to Valley Forge, PA. where they have large malls to keep her happy while the storm wreaks its havoc. Got to say the picture of that house makes me glad I’m too poor to own beach front property.

Come see an eagle released
Bird TLC has two eagles that are now ready for release, and they’d like to get them out before winter.
Please join us this Sunday, October 14th at 1 pm at the Bird TLC property to see these birds fly free!
(Our property is on Old Seward above Potter’s Marsh right past the Orthodox Church)
We’ll be having a raffle for the chance to release one of these birds back to the wild!
The raffle tickets will be $10 and can be purchased at the property for one hour prior to the release (cash or credit card accepted).
