Oh the hypocrisy

I find it rather amusing that the Republicans are bending over backwards to distance themselves from Steve King and his racist remarks. They are squealing and squawking like their virtue has been ripped from them. They repeat over and over that racism has no place in the party of Lincoln. They’ve stripped King of his committee assignments. They are dancing away from him in double time.

So given this virtuous response to King’s overt racism, I have to wonder how they can continue to support the POS currently sullying the White House who has called Mexicans murderers and rapists and Africa a country of shit-holes.

I guess if you are president of their party, you can be as racist as you want and Republicans will flock to defend you because you are the big bully on the block and you scare them. But if you are just one of many small bullies, they will leap up and pretend to destroy you for your racist statements. I say pretend because the minute they need this ass’s vote, he’ll be right back in power.

Seems as though Republicans might be just a tad hypocritical on this topic. But then, isn’t that what we’ve come to expect from the party that spends its days kissing that orange ass?
