If you added up years in public life among Don Young, Ted Stevens, Lisa Murkowski and Mark Begich, you probably come close to 150 of public exposure as politicians. Yet not one of them in all those years had to have a reporter handcuffed and arrested by their security detail. Truth be told, I’m not sure they had/have a security detail. Yet Joe Miller not only needs a security detail, but after only a few months of public life, he’s got them arresting reporters.
