Schools

When someone breaks into a school in America, they show up armed with assault rifles and kill as many people as possible. In Mexico, they apparently break into schools and cut the hair of some of the women and girls in the school.

Now don’t get me wrong. Having men forcibly hold you down and chop your hair off with garden shears and machetes is a horrifying experience and can result in massive emotional and psychic trauma. But, at the end of the day, your hair grows back and you get on with your life.

We could wish no one would ever enter a school with nasty intent. But if they are going to, I’d rather they cut my hair than spray me with ammo from an assault rifle. My life won’t grow back like my hair would.
