Yesterday my kid sister Judy got older than I ever thought she would. And still she dreams of actually, someday when she’s all grown up, having an ass. Alas, the Sereni curse is to have none. So if you see this butt anywhere in Atlantic City or its environs today, will you please wish it a happy belated birthday.
Auntie Kris shares the joy of reading with Aqsiin… and somewhere in heaven, her mother is smiling.
If there is any reward for the hard work involved in raising a family of good and decent people, it has to be a luau at your nursing home with your sons and their wives. What a happy and handsome group I get to call my family.
All it took to get this picture from Aaka was to mention how the only person she was taking pictures of in Hawaii was her grandson. So here’s her daughter Greta and Greta’s son Little Joe. Sorry, Aapa, you’ll apparently just have to wait a little longer for your turn.
His roots may be in the Arctic, but this little Eskimo boy has discovered the joy of heat, sand and water that doesn’t have ice in it. I think Joe gives Hawaii his official stamp of approval.
This was taken by friends from their kitchen window. It’s a lynx that was cutting through their front yard early one morning. How many of you can get up in the morning, look out your window and see nature being nature in the wild and then hop in your car and be having a take-out latte ten minutes later? God I love this state.
These are some of the orphaned baby birds we take care of at Bird TLC in the summer. How could anyone resist?
Now that you have your wonderful son Joe, you can start to understand the love and joy you brought into your parents’ life and, very especially, my life.
Much love on this special day.
Happy Birthday, Greta.
This is my big brother. He is VERY old today yet, thanks to the loving care he receives from the gorgeous broad standing next to him, he looks amazingly young and healthy. In my head, he’ll always be the kid I shared a room with at 6 North. And that’s a good thing.
Happy Birthday, Phil. Thanks for keeping him well preserved, Joan.
I had no intention of pulling my pants down and running through the yard naked… honest!
